Coarse perlite is particularly suitable for aroids such as Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium, and Alocasia, as well as for many other houseplants that prefer a well-draining, airy substrate. It is also an ideal addition for cacti, succulents, and plants with sensitive root systems.
Coarse perlite can be combined perfectly with pine bark, tree fern fibers, coconut chips or soil and is suitable both for individual substrate mixtures and for improving existing potting soils.
