Tree fern fibers are a natural, high-quality substrate component for airy, structurally stable potting soils. They ensure good aeration in the root zone and support healthy, vigorous root growth.

Due to their loose structure, tree fern fibers store moisture evenly without promoting waterlogging. At the same time, they release water slowly, thus helping to maintain a balanced moisture level in the pot.

They are particularly suitable for Aroids such as Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium and Alocasia, but also for many other houseplants that prefer an airy, well-draining substrate.

Tree fern fibers can be ideally combined with pine bark, perlite, coconut chips or coconut coir and are suitable both for individual substrate mixtures and for improving existing potting soils.
